Drone video suggests the great outdoors or vast urban landscapes. After all, one of the great benefits of the drone is making possible low-cost aerial video. But the advent of small drones has opened up the great indoors. You may look a long time before you find a more polished example of an indoor drone video than “Onnanocos” (“Girls”) shot at a Japanese high school. Starting outside, the camera enters an open window and darts through all sorts of obstacles while documenting the calm learning environment.

Our informant OsakaVoid (@osaka_void) tells us that the Japanese words superimposed throughout this single-shot video name the young women who appear on screen.

According to Fstoppers, “Katsu FPV, the creator of this video is part of the “Tiny Whoop Japan” team. The Tiny Whoop is the flagship model of the nano-quadcopter family.” Writing in dronebelow,  Sarah Whitaker reports that he camera used was a RunCam Split Mini and that stabilization was applied in post-production.
