The trailer for “Dashcam”—a horror road pic— has plenty of action, weird sounds, and blood. But what the producers rely on most to sell the movie are reviewer raves printed in large red type. It’s a technique all filmmakers can use, as long as their movies get thumbs up from major publications. That’s not easy, but who ever said marketing a movie was a walk in the park?
Dashcam features two friends on a nightmarish, live-streamed road trip. Directed by Rob Savage, the film was written by Savage, Gemma Hurley, and Jed Shepherd.
If the trailer works for you, you can buy the feature on Apple iTunes, Amazon Video, Vudu, Microsoft Store, Redbox as download or rent it on Apple, iTunes, Amazon Video, Vudu, Microsoft Store, Redbox, and FlixFling
About the Filmmaker
