This is stunning. These are views captured in a way that gives you a whole new perspective of the Lancashire beauty spot. The video really takes you on a journey and you get lost in the music. This could be an advert for the area because it does really capture it that well. The raw footage isn’t lost but great editing allows the movie to have a great flow to it. Very enjoyable.
Well done indeed.
Thanks for your support Andy

You’ll have to show me how to edit 😊👍

So wonderful to see Rivington from this perspective, you get a true insight into its beauty. Well done Ashle for capturing this and the music really brings it all to life.
I appreciate your comments, thanks
Superb film, I see many but was entranced. Not only light and colour. A walk I would have chosen without the ability to touch the water and see from the sky it enhances the senses and nature’s accompany. Short and punchy with wonder how it was achieved, I watched over and over and shared with all my friends.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for your positive comments
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing
Thanks Mark, your comments are appreciated
This is undoubtedly one of the best assets of Bolton without doubt the best advertisement for our once great town.
I agree that this area is a great asset and the reason why we probably all live where we do, thanks for your comments
Stunning! I have walked and photographed around all of these areas at different times of the year. I love this video which shows it from a completely different perspective. I could watch it again and again! Ashle it would be lovely if you could repeat this at different times of the year too so people could see how special this part of Lancashire really is. The colours in Autumn are really spectacular.
Thanks for the feedback, I have actually filmed it all again several times over the past few weeks to try and capture the colors, was debating if to do the exact same Vidyo at different times it do a slightly different version, thanks
This video truly reflects how beautiful Rivington is and it is fab to see it from this perspective.
Thanks for your comments
A really enjoyable video the encapsulates the joy of Rivington and so easy for us all to watch without getting drenched. Roll on drier conditions when I can walk up there again.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, more footage coming soon
Fantastic video makes me proud to live here
Thanks Bev, thanks for the comments
This is nothing short of pure excellence, it captures the illustrious, enigmatic exquisitness that is Rivington, both the footage & the song take you on a spellbinding flight over the whole of what must be close to a garden of Eden.! I have never seen it’s beauty from the air, even, both as a child & an adult, I have spent many, many hours around the area , this has left me breathless & emotional beyond description..! I will never tire of watching this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart Ashlie, you have shown not just myself, but the world, the awe inspiring beauty that is but a “stones throw” away from my home town of Chorley, long may it remain a haven for peoprle like me to visit & absorb the pure esscence of nature in it’s supremacy.! thank you again.!
Thanks Mike for the detailed feedback, I’m glad you like my work and that you enjoy watching

Wow, this is right on my doorstep, so lucky to have this near by, well done
Thanks for the positive feedback, greatly appreciated
This is so amazing to watch, you even captured a moment where from the top of the pike you could see as far as bosley cloud near macclesfield.
Incredibly smooth and it captured the beauty and the essence of Rivington itself.
Thanks Susan, we are lucky to have a good subject so close by to be able to film.
Great short film, 5 stars – The Guardian
Thanks Ben from “The Guardian” haha glad you like it
An interesting angle on farmiliar scenes – especially Rivington Pike.
Thanks Brian, It’s defiantly an interesting view, I was surprised how much the pike area sticks up, cool place
Brilliant …. Lancashire’s very own Lake District!
Thanks Dad
Ashle is nothing short of a genius when it comes to producing and filming with drones the final production is stunning just look at the above video.
Ashle is mid way through completing a heritage promo for my company which is shaping up to be his best work to date in my opinion.
Cheers Roger, excellent review, and looking forward to completing the Heritage promo, think that will turn out to be just as god as this, if not better
Looks like the promo video is going down well, over 6000 views in a few days over Christmas, looks cool
Amazing xxx
Thanks Suzi
A very watchable film (I’ve watched it several times) capturing perfectly this lovely area. Great flying and editing, and the music works well too.
Superb film of a place of natural outstanding beauty! I grew up walking with my grandad up there and lovely to see if from a different perspective x
Thank you to all who have taken the time to watch this video and leave feedback
Wonderful. Rivington is one of my favourite places.
Ashle, this is brilliant! You have an eye fir the camera and have captured the area beautifully.
I love your footage at Birkacre (Yarrow Valley Park) and I’d love to see footage from the source of the Yarrow (at Winter Hill) to Yarrow Valley (through Birkacre) and up through Charnock Richard, Euxton, through to Croston ….. this would be sensational and if you haven’t done this already, I hope you rise to the challenge.
Thanks for sharing the footage of Birkacre on the Save Our Greenbelt at Yew Tree Farm campaign page, where the landscape and environment will be changed forever, if building plans go ahead. Your support is both appreciated and immeasurable. Thank you x
PS. I love the music. Your friend is very talented.
