There’s a ton of information about photographing the August 21 eclipse with your phone. The Washington Post has offered a list of helpful start-here basics.

One issue that the WaPo piece didn’t cover is location. If you want to experience the totality, you’ll need to be in the eclipse’s path. The website Eclipse2017.org provides useful maps. Their focus is on the U.S.
