Brompton Bicycle sponsors a 15-second video contest

Movies entertain and instruct. But perhaps even more important, the medium enables us to see things that we never noticed or see things we willfully ignored. Making the invisible visible is the premise of Brompton Bicycle’s “My Unseen City” competition. The challenge is to shoot a 15-second video contest that brings into focus something special about urban existence. Prizes include a Brompton bike plus a trip to London. The jury includes director Guy Ritchie.

There is no entry fee for this 15-second video contest. However,  you  need an Instagram account to submit your movie. After you create a 15 second (or less) film about a part of your city that most people haven’t seen, the steps to enter are:

  1. Upload it to Instagram
  2. Use the hashtag #myunseencity
  3. Geo-tag the city you’re in
  4. Tag and Follow @bromptonbicycle on Instagram
  5. Share your film

If you shoot your entry with a mobile, we hope you’ll let us take a look at it by sending the link to info@mobilemoviemaking.com
