Once upon a time, filmmakers relied on scary buildings to generate horror. When the protagonist approached such a place, audiences would think—or even call out—”Don’t go in there!” These days, instead of frightening structures, ordinary-looking cameras provide the thrills. Three examples previously featured here are “Polaroid,” “Clickbait,” and “# Selfie.” This week’s contribution to the spooky cameras genre is “Click” directed by Dutch filmmaker Ivo van Aart.
More About “Click”
Ivo van Aart writes: “CLICK is a short horror film made by me and my girlfriend, inspired by the fantastic shorts from ponysmasher. Best to watch in a dark space, with the sound on high volume.”
You can learn more about the director on Instagram and Twitter, and YouTube.
