Conrad Mess’s “Vengeance” has won the 2016 MobileMovieMaking Halloween Video Contest. The jury praised the one-minute movie for its intensity, pacing, dramatic climax, and astonishing visual effects.

Alan Del Tufo’s “Brilliant At Breakfast” won the “Best Cinematography Prize.” The film, shot on an iPhone 6, provides a mini-textbook of visual storytelling techniques. The jury noted the dramatic mirror shots, close-ups, and artistic lighting.

Entries in this year’s contest came from six countries: Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Spain, UK and US.
