Kate Fahey didn’t set out to prove anything to the world. All she wanted to do was be good at operating a gigantic tower crane—a piece of equipment critical to building skyscrapers. That achievement has opened women’s eyes to the possibilities of work in the male-dominated, high-paying construction industry.
