SF3 2018 has announced its 4th season. All films must be shot on a smartphone or tablet and be 6.5 minutes or less. Enter by August 1st at www.sf3.com.au. The SmartFone Flick Fest’s gala screenings, held in Sydney, Australia, is set for September 7, 2018. Here’s the Festival’s trailer.
The Rules
- The film must be shot entirely on a smartphone or tablet, or a 360 camera for SF360.
- Films must be no longer than 6 minutes and 30 seconds including titles and credits.
- All scripts and ideas must be your original material.
- Copyright material can only be used if you have written permission to do so.
- You can use any software to edit your video and audio.
- You can use any software for colour correction or special effects.
- You can use external microphones, wide-angle lenses, lighting, tripods, etc.
- Your film must meet all the terms and conditions of the festival to be eligible.
SF3 Kids Flicks Category and Competition is for Australian and International filmmakers aged 16 years and under.
The prizes will be announced soon. Judging from last year, the prizes will be generous.
