The winner of our “Out Our Windows”  Instagram video contest is Varun Mehta of India. Varun’s entry—which drew nearly 3,000  views—attracted the most  “likes” and “comments.” The short video captured a view taken from a train window. Mehta earlier was a co-winner in this magazine’s travel competition.

Entries for the “Out Our Windows” contest came from Japan, the UK, the US, Germany, and India.

We were amazed by the creativity exhibited in many of the short Instagram videos. One video includes a surprising explosion seen from a car. Another offers a witty bit of philosophizing regarding Instagram.
